Rachel Langus
Rachel Langus graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA) at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) with a Masters of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine (MAc CHM).
After a career in film arts administration and distribution, she personally found acupuncture treatment as a way to de-stress and find a healthy life balance. She was ultimately drawn to pursue the field—compelled to share its wonders with others.
With over 1,000 clinical hours and 3,000 didactic hours of specialized training, Rachel learned both the art and science of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Chinese Herbal Medicine. During her studies, she completed thirteen internships across various healthcare settings, including Boston Medical Center Internal Medicine & Family Medicine, Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital, New England School of Acupuncture clinic, and various private practices, gaining a comprehensive understanding of different approaches, styles, and techniques.
A natural healer, and drawn to bringing harmony and equilibrium to others’ lives, she also received her 500-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT500) and Advanced Restorative Yoga certification, is a level two Reiki practitioner, and an aromatherapist. Incorporating all these elements into her treatments, she encourages mindfulness, self-reflection, self-discovery, self-empowerment, stress management, grounding and relaxation. Her treatments are varied and patient-focused and strengthen the mind/body connection.
Rachel also can’t let a dog go by without petting it…especially Sadie, her Black Lab/Beagle mix rescue! She is always down to do something crafty with her hands like beading, crochet, or pottery and loves dance fitness like Zumba and Jamaican Dancehall. She can often be found listening to a true-crime or comedy podcast.
